The Europas recognise Panaseer as Europe's hottest cybertech startup
London 28 June 2019 – Panaseer, an enterprise cyber-security technology company, has scooped the award for Europe’s Hottest CyberTech Startup at the Europas awards, held in partnership with TechCrunch. Previous winners include big success stories such as Darktrace and Digital Shadows.
The Europas is the premier award for Europe’s hottest tech startups, celebrating the most ambitious and innovative tech companies across 20 categories. Founded in 2009 and still run today by Mike Butcher, the Europas celebrates the newest companies on the scene along with mid and late-stage technology startups, in conjunction with leading investors and media in the EMEA region.
Panaseer is solving a fundamental issue in cybersecurity – a lack of visibility over what assets businesses are defending and insight into where security controls are deployed. Its Continuous Controls Monitoring platform gives security leaders this insight with a trusted, unified view across business lines, regions, and technology platforms.
Nik Whitfield, CEO, Panaseer: “We are striving to protect society’s well-being by assuring that the services we consume from major companies are secure. I believe every global corporation must be able to automatically identify every asset, and the status of every security control, at all times. The Europas are revered as the most prestigious awards that identify and reward startups set to disrupt their sector and scale rapidly. I couldn’t be prouder of my team for making a company and product that can win serious awards like this.”
Mike Butcher, Chairman of the Europas Judging Panel: “The Europas judges were hugely impressed by both Panaseer’s platform and the progress it’s made over the last year. The company is emblematic of how cyber is moving away from a service to a product-led industry.”
