Win for Panaseer at the Women in IT Awards

Earlier this year, Panaseer’s Chief of Staff, Sophie Harrison, scooped the Business Leader of the Year award at The Women in IT Awards in front of one thousand business and technology leaders.
This event is the world’s largest technology diversity event and included a keynote speech from Alex Younger, head of the Secret Intelligence Service. The MI6 chief stressed the importance of attracting the best IT talent as technology continues to transform the capabilities required of Britain’s foreign intelligence agency.
Why we need diversity in enterprise security
Around eight in ten IT roles are filled by men in the UK, and it is vital that more women are attracted to the industry if organisations such as MI6 want to be sure they are using the best talent available.

As Panaseer’s Chief of Staff, Sophie Harrison has done exceptionally well to earn the Business Leader of the Year award and it is well deserved.
